Bengaluru: Industry is in a rush to leverage the generative AI applications like ChatGPT for various functions, prompting multiple enterprises, starting from IT services to staffing to fashion-tech companies- to come up with ChatGPT-powered solutions.

In the recent time, generative AI applications like ChatGPT have created much disruptions in the workflow of multiple enterprises with its ability to automate various functions.

“We have integrated ChatGPT-kind of generative AI-related studies in all our course offerings. So, it is not that we are planning, rather we have already integrated the ChatGPT-related applications given the ability of this technology to bring transformation in many aspects of an organisation,” Bharat Gupta, CEO &Co-Founder of edtech firm FunctionUp told Bizz Buzz.

The Y Combinator backed firm provides various technology courses as part of its upskilling, and reskilling to freshers and experienced engineers in many emerging areas like data science.

Indian IT services companies are already betting big on generative AI applications with many launching their own set of applications, leveraging ChatGPT. Infosys on Tuesday announced the launch of its ChatGPT-powered solution, Topaz.

“Topaz is an AI-first offering to accelerate business value for global enterprises using generative AI. It helps amplify the potential of humans, enterprises and communities to tap into the next generation of opportunities to create value from unprecedented innovations, connected ecosystems and pervasive efficiencies,” Infosys said in a statement.

According to the company, Topaz converges the power of Infosys Cobalt cloud, and data analytics to AI-power business, deliver solutions and intuitive experiences that drive growth.

Similarly, market leader Tata Consultancy Services is reportedly in the process of building its own ChatGPT kind of solution in the coming days. The IT major is looking to harness the vast internal code, data and resources. The solution will be built through in-house algorithms that use large language modelling functions similar to generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots such as ChatGPT, but for enterprise code generation. Similarly, Wipro is expanding its partnership with Google to offer generative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to enterprises across sectors. The IT services firm will also train 20,000 employees on Google Cloud’s generative AI technologies. Apart from IT firms, even many technology-powered startups are coming up with ChatGPT-powered solutions.

For instance, fashion-tech company Myntra has launched its ChatGPT-kind of solutions leveraging generative AI.

“Myntra has introduced ‘MyFashionGPT’, powered by ChatGPT, to enable natural language-based queries for seamless product discovery and get various options across related categories to complete looks, offering customers an unparalleled shopping experience,” the company said in a statement on Thursday.
